What is the training about?

During the training, we cover all the basic principles of Google Tag Manager. We discuss the difference between tags, triggers, and variables.

What will you be able to do after the training?

After the training, you will understand how Google Tag Manager works. You will be able to independently set up a container and correctly measure certain events after the training.

The training is highly suitable for marketers and entrepreneurs with little experience in Google Tag Manager. But who have the ambition to independently set up Google Tag Manager.

Training Day Schedule

Arrival at training location in Leiden

The training will take place at our office in Leiden. Free parking is available on our parking deck, and it’s only a 5-minute walk from Leiden Central station. Coffee and tea will be available upon arrival. All you need to bring is a properly functioning laptop and full access to a website.

Part 1 – Google Tag Manager Implementation

The first part of the training covers Google Tag Manager implementation. This will allow us to work on setting it up correctly after lunch, following the theory.

Lunch

We will provide lunch halfway through the training day. We’ll provide fresh drinks and the tastiest sandwiches in Leiden.

Part 2 – Google Tag Manager Theory: From triggers to tags, everything to set up the basic container.

In the second part of the training, we cover the elements within Google Tag Manager. You’ll receive explanations on the types of tags, triggers, and variables. After the theory, we’ll start working on setting up the basics of your containers correctly.

Training Room

Our office has several training rooms. The Google Tag Manager training will always take place in a small group of up to 6 participants. For customized training, we also have spaces available for up to 40 people. Prefer training on location? Of course, that’s also an option!

About the trainer

The Google Tag Manager basic training is conducted by Richard Hage. He is the data lead of PureDigital and has a background in IT and education. Richard is busy every day with implementations and optimizations of Google Tag Manager. New innovations within Google Tag Manager such as Consent V2 tags?
