For charities, we manage and optimize Google Grants to maximize the available budget of $10,000 per month. For a big impact on donation and lead goals, we combine this with a paid Google Ads account.
What Is Google Grants?
Google Grants is a special program from Google for nonprofit organizations without a profit motive. To qualify for Google Grants in the Netherlands, an organization must hold ANBI or SBBI status. Upon approval, Google provides an advertising budget of $10,000 per month. This advertising budget can only be used on Google’s search network. However, commercial advertisers are always given priority for ad positions and, in addition, the Google Grants account must meet various quality requirements. Wondering if your organization qualifies for Google Grants? If so, please feel free to contact us.
Why Google Grants?
Due to the terms of Google Grants, it is difficult to achieve visibility and traffic on competitive keywords such as “donate charity” or “donate.” Want to make a real impact on donation or lead generation goals? Then our advice is to set up a paid Google Ads account alongside it. We advise nonprofit organizations to use Google Grants primarily for information keywords related to the organization’s mission. In this way, it is possible to realize a lot of relevant traffic to various pages on the website. With a good remarketing strategy, this traffic can then be tracked from the paid Google Ads account.
